The holiday gifts keep coming!
One of my clients knows that I'm an avid reader, and she was incredibly generous with a Half-Price Books gift card for Christmas. And guess what I found in their online store: an unmarked Dogs in the Vineyard! What?! After the gift card, I was paying for just a bit more than shipping. Then I used a gift card from my mother to get a physical copy of Tremulus. I'm a big fan of Lovecraftian stories, and while I know this book has not gotten a tremendous amount of love, I'm very excited to read it and run it for myself. Now I just need to find someone to pay me to read and play RPGs.

Got a DTRPG gift card for my birthday and I decided to get some physical copies. I went a little hogwild on the RPG front with any financial gifts over the holiday, so you'll be seeing a ridiculous number of these posts.
Then I will spend the next 2 years reading and playing ALL THE RPGS! I had been hearing about Shock: since I discovered Indie RPGs about a year or so ago, but of course it was out of print, so I didn't think I'd get a chance to get a physical copy--then lo and behold! +Joshua A.C. Newman made it available a month or so ago and I jumped at the chance. Now I'm excited to bring it to my gaming group!
For those interested, there are still 12 copies (as I write this) available: https://glyphpress.com/talk/product/shock-social-science-fiction |
